LIMITED LIFETIME PRODUCT WARRANTY

Kuma products are fully warranted to the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. If a product ever fails due to a manufacturing defect, even after extended use, we will repair the product, without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use. Damage not covered under warranty will be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping.

WARRANTY FAQ’s

Q: How do I make a warranty claim?
A: For warranty evaluation, visit the store you purchased the product from and request repair or replacement. Make sure to take your receipt as proof of purchase. If you are unable to visit the original store of purchase you may instead visit any authorized Kuma dealers for warranty but they may charge you administrative or shipping charges.

Q: I’m unable to take my warranty product to an authorized dealer. What do I do now?
A: Please send a picture of the defect along with a picture of your receipt to info@kumaoutdoorgear.com.  

Q: What does "lifetime" mean?
A: Lifetime refers to the product’s lifespan not the owner’s.  Generally outdoor products have a lifespan of 5 years but regardless of age we will be happy to review your warranty request.

Q: If approved for warranty will my product be repaired of replaced?
A: If you product fails due to a manufacturing or workmanship defect, our first option will be to repair the item free of charge.  If the product is not repairable, or if the cost of repairing the item exceeds the cost of a new one, we will replace it. 

Q: How do I send my product in for warranty service or replacement?
A: Once you have emailed info@kumaoutgear.com your receipt and picture of the damaged item, we will email you a return authorization number, an address and shipping instructions. You may ship the product back using the courier of your choice however insurance is recommended and cost of shipping is your responsibility.
